Thought for the Day
May 07, 2008
You feel the presence of God when silence reigns. In the excitement and confusion of the marketplace, you cannot hear His Footfall. He is Shabdabrahma, resounding when all is filled with silence. That is why I insist on silence, the practice of low speech and minimum sound. Talk low, talk little, talk in whispers, sweet and true.

Where are we heading to?
The dates like Feb 19, May21, Jul 11, Aug 6, Sep 11, Oct 31 and many more are the most notorious dates that one can bitter fully remember.

News about bomb blasts, killings, rape, bullying are very common now a days. Recently in Virginia a student claimed 32 lives and sent a video footage and photographs to press. In Japan, supposed to be gun culture free country a Mayor of Nagasaki was shot dead. Day in and day out We are reading about bomb blasts in Iraq. Bomb blasts have become very common affair in daily life.

Why we cannot reduce gun-related crimes. Humans become enraged and desperate, and a gun in the hands of an enraged or desperate individual could be a sure recipe of disaster or tragedy.

In Japan suicidal rate of school children has increased due to bullying in Schools by fellow students.

Why are these happening? Who are responsible for these? How a human is turning to an animal and doing such arrogances? Are we teaching human values to our next generations?
